Susan’s Story – The Best Decision I’ve Ever Made
Story of Susan
Susan Bogarad grew up in Northern West Virginia in a small town called Weirton. She has been a Registered Nurse for 35 years, a career she views as more of her passion rather than work. She enjoys reading, crocheting and being physically active. Susan loves spending time with her family and friends. When asked about the most interesting thing about her, Susan responded that she has multiple invisible illnesses and conditions but she looks “normal”. Her hearing loss is one of those invisible conditions.
She realized that her hearing was declining over 10 years ago. She was working with a company that provided medical telephonic case management. It was challenging to hear her patients. She needed crisp, clear hearing for her patients as well as her everyday enjoyment of her loved ones. Susan took the big first step and made an appointment for a hearing evaluation.
After years of paying out of pocket for hearing aids, her husband’s company offered partial reimbursement for hearing aids, and that’s when she found Levine Hearing. She was amazed with the level of technology offered by Levine Hearing and was surprised at how well the new aids helped her in many areas of her life. She has been able to hear clearly in her house, she enjoys the radio more and even turned down the volume because she was hearing so well. Most importantly Susan is now able to hear emergency vehicles before they are beside her.
She urges everyone to “do yourself a huge favour and have a hearing evaluation at Levine Hearing! Hearing loved ones is priceless. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made!”
Hi! I’m Maggie. I have been helping Charlotte hear better for nearly two decades! I love giving the gift of hearing to my friends and neighbours. Please leave me comments if my posts are meaningful to you or teach you something new, and feel free to tweet us at @LevineHearing!
I am sure many people can relate to her story–myself included.
