Is Hearing Aid Insurance Coverage a Possibility?

Hearing aid insurance coverage is certainly a possibility. We can say from experience, that the majority of plans have low or no coverage for hearing aids unless explicitly stated. It can be similar to the way that you would be aware that you have dental insurance. However, we are always happy to check your policy for you.

How Does The Insurance Process Work?

Patients who call to book a hearing exam, balance test, or other office visit, will be asked to share their insurance information if available. Our team will verify coverage and will inform you if preauthorization is needed for a procedure. 

Most appointment types can call directly to book their appointment without the need for a referral from a primary care physician. Specifically, Medicare patients interested in balance and dizziness testing will need a referral from the primary care physician. It is a simple process for us to go get that referral for you, even if you call the office directly to book your appointment. 

At the time of service, we will always provide an estimate of coverage and out of pocket expense to keep you informed.

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), United Healthcare (UHC), AETNA, Traditional Medicare, and are a point of service for TRICARE (excluding Prime at this time) and we also offer many self pay options as well.
