Once you have completed the fall risk assessment, our physical therapist Dr. Muth will perform balance training with you. This is an important type of fitness training that focuses on developing the body’s ability to maintain equilibrium while performing various tasks.

Our physical therapist will also provide suggestions for home modifications to help you stay safe from fall-induced injuries along with your training in order to help reduce your likelihood of falling while your body is still relearning independence.

Balance training exercises are designed to improve:

  • Coordination
  • Stability
  • Agility
  • Risk of injury

This kind of physical therapy may be what you are in need of to help you feel safe enough to get up and at it again. It does not matter your age; quality of life is important!
